AIMS & OBJECTIVES
The prime focus of the programme is to prepare professionals in keeping pace with the demand of the healthcare sector labour market. PATHE is proud to mention that we are the only academic institution approved to conduct Nursing & Paramedic programmes in Sri Lanka using our affiliated network of healthcare institutions across the island for practical training, PATHE aims at providing quality medical education at an affordable cost. We, in consultation with the Private Medical Hospitals Association, NAITA and other private & government healthcare organizations keep in touch with the developments in order to offer better programme standards & employment opportunities. In time to come we are planning to affiliate the existing programme with world renowned universities abroad leading to B.Sc degree level.

ADMISSION CRITERIA
Pass of 03 A/L subjects in one sitting with a pass in chemistry or an aggregate of not less than 30% in A/L .However the prospective students will have to maintain a 80 % attendance rate and undergo 960 hrs of internship to be qualified to receive the Higher National Diploma in M.L.T (HND in MLT)

DURATION
Full duration is 2 year and 960 hour internship period. Classes are conducted once a week for 3 hour on 4 semester basis. Semester consist of 5 month.
